Katie came to us as a referral from a past #TnLCouple, Meghan + Jay, whose wedding she was a bridesmaid in two years ago! We’ve been looking forward to their wedding for quite some time, and it was the perfect way to kick off our 2020 wedding season! Katie and Addison are such sincere and genuine people, and it’s so evident whether you’ve known them for five minutes or fifteen years. At their rehearsal dinner, their toasts were just person after person showering them with so much love and talking about what kind people they are!
Their wedding day at The Four Seasons was beautiful, even if it was a little windy and chilly. Spoiler alert: Their first look was beyond precious. I think I may have found my new favorite groom reaction photo ever! (Keep scrolling to see more!) They even exchanged handwritten vows at their first look that were absolute perfection. Their ceremony at Cistercian Abbey was the most beautiful mix of sweet and sentimental words, as their officiant beautifully told their story on the same grounds that Addison used to roam in high school. Katie and Addison danced the night away to the Manhattan Band, and about half way into the night, Addison even made his way on to the stage for a solo performance of Proud Mary with the band and brought the house down. This groom is the karaoke KING. Side note: I think Addison and Jeremy (who if you recall had quite an epic time at his own wedding) could definitely be karaoke buddies.
These two are the real deal – the kindest souls and a rock star couple. I could not stop smiling watching them. We’re thrilled to share their wedding on the blog today and hope you enjoy!
