You may recognize Gina and Austin from their engagement session that they totally rocked! From the moment we met them, we knew we’d be having a lot of fun together! They’re the kind of couple that gets the party started, and you’ll see what I mean when you see their reception! ;)

Gina and Austin’s wedding lakeside wedding took place at Austin’s family’s lake house near Mt. Pleasant, TX. Austin’s sister got married there, and they loved it so much they decided to as well. We were so impressed with all the work they did from the landscaping, to the pergola, the tent, every little detail came together beautifully. We joked that it looked like it was meant to be a wedding venue because the pergola looked like it was just asking to marry someone under it! Being able to watch the sunset on the lake during the reception was such a romantic setting!

We had such a great time with these two and their friends and family, and we’re thrilled to share their beautiful wedding on the blog today!

Funny story. Along with taking your photos, we’ve also got your back should an emergency come up! When Tyler arrived to photograph the groomsmen, he found them all with bow ties hanging down around their necks. Turned out no one actually knew how to tie one. Thankfully Tyler did, so he ended up tying about a dozen or so bow ties for everyone.

Congrats Gina and Austin – thank you so much for having us be a part of you wedding! Y’all are an incredible couple, and we hope you’re having an amazing time in the Caribbean!
