I’ve known Rachel for over twelve years, and I have never seen her glow quite the way she did on her wedding day! I hadn’t gotten to spend as much time with Mark because they live in Houston, but seeing them together on the wedding day was all I needed to know how crazy he is for her! Being a part of their day was such a joy for both of us, and I may have cried at least three times on the wedding day and then an additional five times while editing these photos! There were so many sweet moments throughout the day, and then the reception just got even better with the best surprise ever. Mark jumped out on the dance floor to Katy Perry as the Left Shark! We’ve seen so many things at weddings, but this was definitely a first! Immediately everyone went crazy, and Rachel looked over at the dance floor and said to me, “Is that mine?” I said, “Yup! That’s your shark!” Cutest, funniest thing we’ve ever seen. Mark loves to keep her laughing, and we thought it was the most adorable way to start their marriage – laughing together!
I can’t rave about their wedding without mentioning how much time we had for portraits! I was in heaven! Their wedding is the perfect example of how to get lots of dreamy portraits! We took them out at sunset, and I’m telling you, the sun wasn’t the only thing glowin! These two are so cute, I wish I could just put them in my pocket! Portraits after the first look are always fun because there’s that energy of getting to see each other! But let me tell you friends, there’s a whole different just married glow that comes after the ceremony, and we had a blast soaking up their natural glow with that dreamy light!
Rachel and Mark, we are so ecstatic for y’all! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Migues! We hope you two are having an amazing time in the Cayman Islands!
Rachel’s little sister and maid of honor, Maddie, made these tank tops for the “tribe”! She’s crazy talented and also hand painted the water coloring on the invites!
And tear-jerker alert number one: Dad seeing Rachel with that proud, yet slightly choked up smile. I’m a puddle.
Tear jerker alert number two: These two are too sweet for words. Tyler captured this sweet moment just before they walked down the aisle where I was already crying!
Tear-jerker alert number three: I literally cannot look at a choked up groom and not cry!
We snuck them away during the reception after dinner for some more portraits and made some magic!
Get ready for it, here comes the left shark!
I had to jump in for a song! 90’s songs are totally my weakness!
