Alexis and Nick tied the knot at The Olana in Hickory Creek, and we’re so excited to share their wedding on the blog this week! This gorgeous new venue hasn’t even had it’s first birthday yet, and we’ve been so blessed to have shot two weddings there! We always joke that it feels a lot like shooting at the Disney World of venues because it just feels so unreal! When we met Alexis and Nick and she explained that she’s an architect, we immediately knew how she fell in the love with the elaborate detail found all throughout The Olana!

They originally planned to do the ceremony on the front lawn, but Texas weather decided it wasn’t quite ready for fall yet and forecasted mid 90’s on their wedding day. They moved their ceremony indoors to one of the TWO ballrooms inside this mansion and it was perfect. Their ceremony was sweet, sincere and full of so many personal moments. It was such a joy to watch these two become husband and wife.

I’d be lying if I said it was easy to pull just some favorites for this post! Alexis and Nick, we hope y’all are loving every minute in Italy! Soak it all up, and welcome to the married club! Congrats!
