Missy and Ryan have been such a blast to be around, and we knew their wedding day would be no different! When it started sprinkling right before their first look, I looked at Missy and said, “How do you feel about portraits under a cute clear umbrella with a few drops of romantic rain?” She smiled and said, “I am so down!” If a million other reasons weren’t enough, in that moment I was reminded how they are definitely our kind of couple! They told us on numerous occasions how much photography meant to them, and they knew they wanted lots of beautiful portraits. I honestly think their rainy day portraits are some of my absolute favorites because there’s just something so darling about a little rain! And it sure does help that these two could not stop smiling – Ryan was so in awe of his bride! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from their wedding day on the blog today! That moment when the groom says, “Can I touch her?!” To say he was blown away would be an understatement!

Ryan surprised Missy during the ceremony with the engagement ring of her dreams! He had always promised it to her, but then told her his “application got denied” but secretly got it for the wedding day! Her reaction was absolutely priceless!
