If you’ve been following our blog, you may recognize Savannah and Dom from earlier when we shared their photo blog post. If not, let us introduce you to the sweetest couple and their incredible families. Fair warning, you should definitely grab some tissues for their wedding film.
As you may have guessed, COVID played a big part in their wedding timeline. Savannah and Dom originally planned to have a tiny, ceremony-only wedding in November 2020, with their bigger “hoorah” in Cabo in February. Obviously 2020 had other plans for them and they were forced to cancel Cabo and have an intimate November wedding only at Dom’s parent’s house.
Having a backyard wedding may initially sound like a bummer, but Savannah and Dom could not have had a more beautiful celebration of their love and the beginning of their story. I can honestly say I’ve never seen a bride and groom be more present on their wedding day, and I think it shows in their wedding film and photos. Surrounded by only their immediate families, Savannah and Dom were married by her father under a beautiful tree, followed by an incredible dinner under the stars with live music and dancing. Their day was filled with so many incredible, heartfelt moments from multiple gift exchanges, letter readings, an emotional ceremony officiated by the bride’s dad, and the sweetest toasts.
We were absolutely blown away by the love we witnessed from these families. When we left that day, I remember turning to Tyler and saying “I felt more love in that room with only 14 people than I’ve felt at weddings with 150+ people!” And he agreed!
