2014 was a great year. Twenty-two gorgeous weddings, numerous engagement sessions, becoming aunts and uncles (whoop!), and even a trip back to Maui! Now it’s time to finally get to share some of our very favorite moments from this year! Thank you so much to all our amazing couples, you guys made this year our favorite yet!
One of our favorite moments this year was photographing our first Justice of the Peace wedding. One moment, we’re sitting in our office, editing away, and a phone call later, we’re on our way down to the courthouse! It was spontaneous, fun and beautiful.
Amanda and Greg’s intimate ceremony at the Arboretum was just darling. We LOVE small weddings!
2014 was also a big year because Tyler and I became an aunt and uncle to the most precious red headed little boy, Nate.
He is sweet, curious and all around adorable and it’s been such a joy to watch him grow from a helpless newborn to a walking 10 month old!
And then there was Leksi. She totally rocked that dress and her bridals were featured on The Luxe Pearl!!
We loved this year’s moments between dads and their daughters. Megan and her dad had breakfast on the morning of her wedding. Sounds cute, right? It totally was.
Seriously my favorite photo of the year. I just adore the looks on their faces as they watch their daughter.
Watching Leksi’s sister joining in during the father/daughter dance was seriously precious.
Alissa and her dad totally cut up the dance floor with a surprise choreographed dance!
LOVE this “Oh my gosh we’re married!” hug that happened minutes after they walked down the aisle.
Tyler and I honeymooned in Maui and were so blessed to be able to go back AGAIN this year! In July we spent 10 days in Maui with the Burns clan, and naturally that resulted in a photo shoot on the beach. Keep a lookout for a full Maui blog post coming soon!
Waking up at 2am doesn’t usually appeal to me but when it’s to see the sunset atop a dormant volcano..I’m all in. This was the most breathtaking experience.
Jessica and Justin’s butterfly release was surely one of our favorite moments this year. Justin surprised Jessica with the butterflies in remembrance of her mom, who had passed away. It was just as sweet as it sounds!
We had the joy of ending 2014 by photographing two amazing proposals!
Cheers to an amazing 2014! We are so stoked for all our 2015 couples!
